Why don't the Conservatives revoke William's membership card?

When I used to be a member of the NDP I believe there was a stipulation that I must support the NDP and not other parties. Of course this is often breached without anyone taking notice as far as ordinary party members are concerned but when an important figure and party member campaigns against his or her own party surely the situation calls for a revocation of membership.
Danny Williams is supposed to be a Conservative but he calls for electing anyone but a Conservative federally. It is simply bizarre that he should be allowed to remain in the party. Of course many people support one party provincially and another federally but for a premier to campaign against his own party is a bit much.
